MASSAGE THERAPY

HEALTH BENEFITS OF MASSAGE THERAPY

We provide customized massage therapy treatments for men, women, children, and expectant and postpartum moms in 30, 60, or 90 minute sessions. Our massages are not 50 minutes in length as other massage franchises offer, but 60 minutes on the treatment table, provided you arrive on time. We allow ample time in between appointments for the comfort of our staff as well as a full 30, 60 or 90 minutes of focused care for our clients.

Here are some general health benefits of massage therapy:

THERAPEUTIC MASSAGE FOR CHILDREN

Clients of all ages benefit from massage. We are living in a time when stress and depression are high, especially for school-age children. We want to help. We provide massage therapy treatments for children ages 12–17. A parent must sign a consent form and must be present in the therapy room. We offer 30-minute sessions to address anxiety, stress, sports injuries or overuse, general tension, or even insomnia.

PRENATAL/POSTPARTUM MASSAGE

We offer prenatal and postpartum massage treatments with permission from your obstetrician. A consent form is necessary for treatment. The owner, Lisa, is a certified prenatal and postpartum massage therapist. She has worked with clients in various stages of pregnancy. She will make you feel comfortable and relaxed. She will adjust her pressure to provide a safe and comfortable massage for you and the baby in utero. Touch is calming to mom and baby and helps mom through the aches and pains that can often come with pregnancy. Massage therapy is also helpful to postpartum moms as their bodies adjust to pre-pregnancy weight and body changes. It can also help uplift and increase energy while reducing neck, shoulder and back pain that can accompany moms who are holding babies frequently.

Note: Massages are only offered in 30- or 60-minute sessions for prenatal massage. 90 minutes is often too long for pregnant moms to maintain comfort on the table. In addition, most add-ons are not offered with prenatal massages as a precautionary measure to make sure baby and mom remain safe and comfortable throughout the pregnancy. Therefore, if you select prenatal massage when scheduling online, you will not see those options on the scheduling page.
